Visitors can enjoy a variety of Hungarian
restaurants , just a short walk away, while a few
minutes drive will take you to The Club Tihany with
its excellent spa which includes masseurs and
beauticians. It too has a fine restaurant. There is a
popular sailing club here, and just round the corner
is Café Tihany, a superb Italian restaurant
overlooking the Lake.Sporting guests can enjoy
golf, sailing, riding, fishing and also hire bicycles
to explore the countryside.

For those wanting to relax, the Allegro Hotel
offers a swimming pool (sauna and small
gymnasium) and there are two sun decks, ideal for
reading a good book accompanied by a glass of
wine and a bottle of sun oil. These roof gardens are
floodlit at night. The village is on our doorstep and
buses can take you to BF which has a large market.

We offer a traditional European breakfast from
07.30 to 11.00, but do not serve lunch or dinner.
However the friendly bar is open most of the day,
from coffee-time through to nightcaps. Some of
the best champagnes and whiskey can be seen
on the shelves and it may be of interest that some
of the wines are from the Allegro's own vineyard
and wine cellar. A horse and carriage may be
arranged to take you up there for an enjoyable
picnic or a wine tasting, while appreciating the
splendid view over the Inner Lake.
